Born in Summerside, March 26, 1952, son of the late J. Sterling and A. Eileen Hunter. Husband of Elizabeth J. (Beals) Hunter. Father of Steven Hunter (Crystal Noonan) and Kelly Hunter (Chris Wood) all of Borden-Carleton. Stepfather of Anthony (Marsha) McAndrew, Stratford; and Crystal (Pastor Dwight) Ingersoll, Cornwall. Grandfather to seven grandchildren. Brother of David (Ruth) Hunter and George (Gladys) Hunter all of Kensington. Half-brother of Lilly Fairweather, Ontario. Brother-in-law of Danny (Janie) Beals, Lower Sackville, N.S.; Don Beals, Kensington; Larry Beals, Bridgetown, N.S.; and Joey (Brenda) Beals, Lawrencetown, N.S. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by half-sister, Margaret Evans, and half-brothers, Percy and Stewart Hunter; father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Freda (Earle) Beals; brothers-in-law, David Earle and Wayne Beals.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Saturday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery, Kensington.
