FLORENCE RANDELL
1936 – 2011
With heavy hearts, the family of Florence Randell announces her passing on Monday May 9th, 2011 after a long and difficult struggle with COPD. Florence Marian Hodgson was born on March 9th 1936 in Prince Albert to Edward and Clara (nee Courtney) Hodgson, the oldest of five. On April 18th, 1953 she married the love of her life James Randell and began her life on the farm where she remained until 2007. Left to cherish her memory are her five children Marian (Todd) Davis, Jamie Randell, Robert (Arlene) Randell, Lana (Jim Powers) Randell and Carolyn (George) Harris; grandchildren Faye Paradis, Michelle (Jeff) Clark, Simone (Dean) Warren, Monique (Andrew Brooks) Paradis, Megan Monsebroten, fiancé Sean Moor, Courtney Monsebroten, fiancé Brian Topping, Bailey Monsebroten, Jeff Randell, Nicole Randell, Robert Randell, Greg Randell, Linda Randell and 13 great grandchildren; her sisters Betty (Wes) Neepin and Elaine (Paul) Neelon; her brother Bill (Kitty) Hodgson; her sisters-in-law Ruth Ireland and Joan Dixon; brother-in-law Svend Nymann as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Jim in 2006; her mother Clara; her father Edward Hodgson; her sister Elvira; mother and father-in-law William and Elizabeth Randell; her brother-in-law Robert (Ruth) Randell and brothers-in-law Elmer Parenteau and Red Ireland. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday May 18th at the Salvation Army with Major Glenn Patey officiating. Interment will be at Spruce Home Lutheran Cemetery.
