DOUCET, MURIELLE (née DAIGLE) - (1931-2011) - RICHIBUCTO, NB - Murielle Doucet 79, of Richibucto passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton on Thursday, May 11, 2011. Born in Aldouane she was the daughter of the late Richard and late Vitaline (Guimond) Daigle. Murielle attended St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. She was a member of the C.W.L., Ladies Auxiliary, Richibucto Golden Age Club and the Banner Festival. She enjoyed volunteering her time to all kinds of local causes within her community. Murielle will be sadly missed by her daughter Linda Richard (Daniel) of West Galloway, two sons; Paul-Émile Doucet (Hélène) of Prosser Brook, Claude Doucet (Anne Marie) of West Galloway, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one sister; Thérèse Comeau (Yvon) of St. Charles, her special friend; Antoine Daigle of Richibucto and many nieces and nephews. Murielle was predeceased by her husband; Emery Doucet, daughter; Sharon, three sisters; Angèle, Osithe, Viola and two brothers; Arcade and baby Amond.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Monday at 9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 16th, 2011 at 11:00 am, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery.
