M. Eleanor McKinnon, 91, passed away at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford on May 11, 2011.
She was born on June 24, 1919, to her parents Joseph and Martha Landrigan. Eleanor was raised and educated on Prince Edward Island. She lived in Malden, Ma., for several years and has been a resident of Medford, Ma., for the past 30 years.
Eleanor is survived by her children: Arthur J. McKinnon and his wife Maureen of Bouckville, NY; Lawrence W. McKinnon and his wife Fran of Lebanon, NH; Paul D. McKinnon and his wife Christine of Medford; and John M. McKinnon and his wife Linda of Medford; by her grandchildren: Kerri, David, Kristen, Christopher, Brian, Mark and Emily; by her great-grandson, Brian; by her sister, Phyllis Carr (nee Landrigan) of Saugus; and by her brother, Dr. Paul Landrigan of Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Eleanor was predeceased by her husband William A. McKinnon and by her brothers, Joseph Landrigan and Rev. Lawrence Landrigan.
