MATE, Margaret Patricia- Passed peacefully away on Friday, May 13th, 2011, in the presence of her loving husband and daughter at age 56. Predeceased by her father William Hayes and her father-in-law Henry Mate. Leaving to mourn her husband Walter and daughter Michelle (Herb) Butt; her mother Margaret Hayes; sister Shirley (Dave) Denine; brother Wayne (Jose) Hayes; mother-in-law Nellie Mate; sisters-in-law: Madonna (Kevin) Green, Diane (Paul) Fagan; Rosalind (Brien) Williams; brother-in-law Fred (Brenda) Mate; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staffs of Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre and to Dr. Elizabeth Callahan. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Saturday and Sunday, May 14th & 15th, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm; 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm; and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
