Passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the Health Sciences Centre after a courageous battle with liver disease, Kathleen Smith-Steffens age 56. Predeceased by her husband Hermann and father Lawrence. Leaving to mourn her devoted mother and best friend Kay, sisters: Deborah (Terry), Margaret (Dave), brothers: Brian (Delores), Calvin (Trini) and their families, and her devoted caregiver Sharon. As per Kathleen's request cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Wednesday, February 21st, 2017 at 10 a.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Witless Bay. Reception to follow at Knights of Columbus building, Witless Bay. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory may be made to St. Patrick's Church Restoration Fund, Witless Bay, A0A 4K0.
