(October 2, 1938 - May 14, 2011) Loving wife and mother, devoted catholic, retired teacher, excellent cook and hostess, loyal friend, imaginative and creative spirit and generous and kind heart. Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, at her home in St. Mary’s, Betty Mandville, aged 72 years. Predeceased by parents John & Mary Mahoney and sister Angela Tobin. Leaving to mourn loving and devoted husband Steve, son Neil (Gloria), daughter Stephanie, brothers Peter (Lorraine) Mahoney and James (Anne) Mahoney, brother-in-law Ferg (Uriel) Tobin, special niece Sharon Tobin and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Gibbons’ Funeral Home, St. Mary’s, on Sunday, May 15, from 7 - 9 p.m. and Monday, May 16 and Tuesday, May 17 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.; 2 – 4 p.m.; 7 – 9 p.m. (No Visitation on Wednesday). Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Wednesday, May 18, at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary’s. Burial to follow.
