Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Friday, May 13, 2011, Mr. Eric H. May of Bay Roberts (formerly of St. John’s) aged 83. Predeceased by parents: Jonas and Effie May (nee Wiseman); wife: Phyllis May (nee Ivany); brothers Bill (Florrie), John (Eillen), Harry and Fen (Donna). Leaving to mourn three sons Eric (Jean), Robert (Rowena), David (Elizabeth); six grandchildren: Erin (Justin), Erika (David), Rebecca, Nicholas, Allison, Jonas; one great-grandchild Leah. Sisters-in-law: Elsie May, Colleen May, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitation Sunday 2-5 p.m. and 7 -9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 11 a.m. from St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Bay Roberts. Inurnment in the St. Matthew’s Anglican Cemetery, Bay Roberts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
