Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Monday, May 9th 2011, Olive Butt, age 77. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Clayton, son Jim of Pasadena, daughters Sheila (Jeff) Richards of Pasadena, Dianne (John) Lane of Castlegar, BC; Sharon (Darrell) Pike of Gander, Dorothy (Eric) Hurley of Stanhope, sisters Jessie Knight of Corner Brook, Doris (Harvey) Rideout of Lower Sackville, NS; Yvonne Cooper of Cornwall, ON; step-sister Hazel Bursey of Clarke’s Beach, step-brothers Allan (Cathleen) Roberts of Twillingate, Fred (Wavey) Roberts of Twillingate, sister-in-laws Dora (Pat) Hickey of Gander, Christine (Terry) Nolan of Gander, grandchildren Chris, Heather, Jennifer, Shawn, Greg, Megan, Jeff, Patrina, Deena, special great-grandchild Rowen Lane and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rested at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander. Funeral service was held on Thursday, May 12th from The Fraser Road United Church, Gander, followed by Inurnment at All Saints Cemetery.
