BAIRD, Edward George –Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, November 6, 2008, Edward George Baird, aged 72 years. Retired RNC Sgt. Officer and 4th degree member Knights of Columbus. Predeceased by his wife Margaret (Pearce), parents Herbert and Ella (Brushett) Baird, brothers Basil and Eric and sister Heather. Leaving to mourn siblings: Elizabeth Wareham (William), Frank (Jackie), Geraldine Winsor (Corbin), Doris Peddle (Frank) and Helen Dicks; sisters-in-law Lorraine Baird, Susan Baird and Dolores Pearce (Robert - deceased); brothers-in-law: Jack Pearce (Marion), Edward Pearce (Elizabeth) and special niece Carolyn Pearce. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Saturday and Sunday 2 p.m. - 4 p.m., 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, November 10th, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. from Mary Queen of the World. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to a charity of one’s choice.
