The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown on Sunday, March 11, 2018 of Rose Elizabeth MacDonald (nee Gaudet), of O'Leary, aged 74, beloved wife of Keir MacDonald. Rose was born in Summerside on October 4 1943, daughter of the late Ferdinand & Angelina (Perry) Gaudet, Tignish. Cherished mother to Stuart (Norma), Lesa (David) Bernard, Connie (Eric) Bernard, and Bonnie (Dwayne) MacDonald Loving grandmother to 10 Grandchildren and 2 Great Dear sister to Jean (Joey) Shea, and Angela (Dennis) Gaudet Rose was predeceased by her parents, sisters and brothers Marie, Irma, Carl, Gloria and Joseph Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home, O'Leary visiting hours Thursday from 6-9p.m. and until 10a.m. Friday, then to St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock for Funeral Mass at 10:30a.m. Interment to follow in the spring. In memory of Rose, memorials to St. Anthony's Church Restoration Fund or IWK Children's Foundation would be appreciated.
