Passed away at the Placentia Health Care Centre on Thursday, August 20, 2009, George Adams, age 83 of Placentia. Predeceased by his parents William & Isabelle Adams. He leaves to mourn his wife Marie,; his sisters: Elizabeth Storey (Gloucester, England) and Evelyn Morton (Sunderland, England), special friend Zita Morgan, Placentia and a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Friday, August 21, 2009. A celebration of George’s life will be held at Coombs Funeral Home on August 21 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 11 a.m. at St. Luke’s Church, Placentia. Cremation to follow. Inurnment in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast, Placentia. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in George’s memory to the SPCA.
