January 5, 1927 - May 16, 2011. Passed peacefully away at Woodford’s Comfort Manor, Holyrood, cherished mother and Nan, Evelyn Rose of Burin, aged 84 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Eugene; her parents Patrick and Mary Ellen Power; sisters: Anne, Isabelle, Hannah, Mary, Catherine, Theresa and Marion; her brothers: Martin, Douglas and Patrick. Survived by her sister Imelda White, Oakville, ON; sisster-in-law Mary (Martin) Power, St. John’s. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her wonderful life her sons: Robert (Brenda), Sean (Brenda), Max (Joann); her daughters: Maureen (Onslow Brenton), Anne (Garry Battcock) and Paula and Della; her beloved grandchildren: Carla (Derek Pella), Nadia (finacé, Eddie Hynes), Ceara Brenton, Mark Battcock, Sarah Battcock (fiancé Mutema Pittman), Heather and Gina Rose and Kiana Rose; her many nieces and nephews; her dear friend, Elsie Rennie, Burin; her friends and neighbours in Burin and the loving caregivers at Woodford’s Comfort Manor, Holyrood.
