Marie passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loving family on May 14, 2011, in Gatineau, Quebec, age 80.
Marie was born in St. Peters Bay, P.E.I., daughter of the late Theresa MacDonald and Raymond MacKinnon. Survived by her three children Elaine (Ben), Donna (Bob) and Dan (Kristine); four grandchildren Lindsay, Rebecka, Vincent and Matthew; by her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Barbara MacKinnon of St. Peters Bay, P.E.I.; sister-in-law, Rita MacKinnon (Chatham, Ont.); and by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Roch Paquette and by sisters Mary Mossey, Sister Mary Irene McKinnon CSM, Bertha MacAulay, Anna Larkin and Marion MacDonald and brothers Alan and Ron.
Visitations will be held May 18 at La Cooperative Funeraire de l’Outaouais, 750, Maloney E. in Gatineau, 819-568-2425; Fax: 819-568-2426; conf@cfo.coop. The funeral mass to be held on Thursday, May 19, at 11a.m. at St-Aloysius-Gonzaga Church located at 400, Abbe-Murray in Gatineau.
