ADAMS (Eagles), Elda Rose – 58, Londonderry. Gone suddenly and much too soon, the anchor of our family is survived by her husband of 37 years, David Sr.; daughter, Theresa Adams (Frederick Beazley); son, David Jr. (Amanda) Adams; cherished grandchildren, Erik, Ethan, Hunter, Kaelyn; brothers, Myles (Maureen) and Morris (Eileen) Eagles; numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Devoted to her family, Elda spent her life looking after others. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Mildred (Rushton) and Percy Ralph; mother, Thelma (Rushton) Eagles; brother, Timmy. Known as someone who never sat still, Elda was looking forward to her retirement with David and her grandchildren. She had been a long term employee at Nyestone Chemicals and most recently she had enjoyed working with the Wynn Park Villa family. Family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of Elda’s life at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Londonderry Community Centre. If so desired, donations in Elda’s memory may be made to her favourite charity, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
