It is with great sadness that we, the family of Elizabeth Butler, announce her passing at Tiffany Village on April 5, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Her bright smile and infectious laugh endeared all those who knew her. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years Harold J. L. Butler; parents: Amy Lawrence (Neal) and David Neal; mother and father-in-law: Agnes and Harold Butler; brother Douglas Neal; sister-in-law Marjorie Bottomley; brothers-in-law: Dennis Abery, Les Butler, Frank Butler, Robert Butler, Jack Ryan and Robert (Bob) Doyle. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son David ‘Craig’ Butler (Karen); daughter Tracy Sullivan (Terry); grandchildren: Kali Butler (John), Kyle Butler, Hailie Butler (Alex), Zachary Butler; step-grandchildren: Steve and Adam Sullivan; brother Bruce Neal (Levina); sister Dorothy Abery; niece Jane Abery (Carl Quinlan); sisters-in-law: Rosamund Ryan, Deborah Guitard (Charles), Diane Perry (Nelson), Marie Butler; brothers-in-law: Boyd Butler (Dallas), George Butler (Lynn). Also leaving to mourn a wide circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thank you to the caring and dedicated staff at Tiffany Village, the Health Sciences Centre - 4 South B and the Eastern Health Palliative Care Team. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 7-9 pm and Tuesday, April 10 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 2 pm from Cochrane Street United Church. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
