The death occurred at Beach Grove Home on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, of Theresa Pineau, formerly of Mayfield, age 82.
Theresa was the mother of Wendell (Sherry), Barry (Janet), Donald, Melinda Peters (Allan) and Stephen (Corrie). She was the special grandmother of Lynn Pineau (Andrew Smith) and Robin Pineau (Jane); great-grandmother of Donovan and Faethe; Mitchell, Patricia, Sandra and Logan; grandmother and great-grandmother of numerous others; great-great-grandmother of one; and special aunt of Darlene Gallant and Roger Gallant (Pam Peterson). Theresa is also survived by her sisters, Elsie Gallant and Ella Doucette.
She was predeceased by her son, Alan; her parents, Peter and Emily (Buote) Gauthier; her brothers, Aubin (Ida), Clarence (Ethel) and Leo (Amelia); sisters, Delma Snow (Murray) and Lobelia Gallant (Greg); and brothers-in-law, Aubin Gallant and Cyril Doucette.
Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow. No visitation by personal request. A private graveside service will be held at St. Anne’s Church Cemetery, Hope River.
