The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, of Lucy Ann Stright, formerly of Pleasant Street, Kensington, aged 76 years. Born in St. Louis, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Melvina (Perry) Allen. Survived by her son, Kent (Kim) Stright, Travellers Rest, daughter, Kim (Philip) Reck, Frenchfort, grandson, Kolton Stright, stepgranddaughter Melissa Ferrish, stepsons, Jim, Bob and Rev. Ken (Rev. Jeanne) Stright, brothers and sister, Alfred Allen, Summerside, Rosealie (Barry) Wiseman, Burton, N.B., and Edward (Jeanne) Allen, Rothesay, N.B. Predeceased by her husband, Herbert Stright, and by a brother Gerard, in infancy. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Monday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations to Summerset Manor Equipment Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
