August 5, 1927 - May 18, 2011. Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on May 18, 2011 at Lions Manor Nursing Home, Theresa O'Keefe of Jerseyside. Predeceased in 2004 by her husband Louis, sisters Eileen, Agatha, Josephine, Sheila, Violet and Mary, brother Augustus and son-in-law Gerald Lambe. Leaving to mourn her children: Eugene (Irene), Joan (John), Magdalene, Ruth (Anthony), Barb (Joe), Edward (Mary), Louis (Jane); her sisters: Ida, Clotilda (Clarence), Rita, Rose; and 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Theresa's memory. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. At the families request there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian burial will take place 11 am on Friday, May 20 at Sacred Heart Parish, Placentia. Inurnment to follow at Rev. Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast.
