Peacefully, at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, on Thursday, April 12, 2018, of Charles Weldon Boone, age 77 years. Veteran, former journalist, broadcaster and public servant. Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, on April 16, 1940, he was predeceased by his beloved Joyce Anne (née Rose) Boone and brother Gary (Dorothy) Boone. Survived by Joshua (Karla) McIntosh and grandchildren Lily-Joyce and Colm. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where a celebration of Weldon’s life will be held on Monday, April 23 at 1:30 p.m. Interment later at Floral Hills Cemetery.
