Passed away at the Brookfield Hospital on Monday, May 16, 2011, Mrs. Melinda Gillingham of Musgrave Harbour in her 79th year. Pre-deceased by her husband Stewart, parents Stanley and MaryAnne Stokes, daughter Sheila Mouland, sisters Wilhemena Abbott and Doris Mouland, and brothers Joseph Stokes, Archibald Stokes, and Chesley Stokes.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her three sons Duke (Norma) of Paradise, George (Mary) of Ragged Harbour and Fred (Josephine) of Ragged Harbour, son-in-law Ivan Mouland of ragged Harbour, two sisters-in-law Violet Guy of Musgrave Harbour and Margaret Stokes of Deadman’s Bay, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and also a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service took place on Wednesday, May 18th from the Salvation Army Citadel with Majors Barry and Donna Anstey officiating. Interment followed from the Salvation Army Cemetery in Ragged Harbour.
