MacMILLAN, Ethel Dophney -84, of Cedar Street, Pictou, passed away April 16, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born on Pictou Island, she was a daughter of the late William D. & Anna J. (MacLean) MacMillan. Ethel is survived by her son, Donald (Carrie), Pictou; sisters-in-law, Margaret, Pictou and Lorraine, Pictou Island; numerous nieces and nephews. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by her siblings, Hughena, John, Hilda, Rita, Verna, Arnold, Charlie, Lorne and Nina. A public graveside service will be held 11 AM Friday in Seaview Cemetery, with Rev. Michael Henderson officiating. A reception will follow in the First Presbyterian Church Hall, Pictou.
