1932 - 2011

It is with great sadness that the family of Anna Cooper (née Palahicky) announces her passing on the 16th of May, 2011 in Edmonton at the age of 79 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Fred, and leaves behind four sons, Earl (Liz) of Kamloops, B.C., Jack of Maple Ridge, B.C., Patrick of Edmonton, AB, and George (Gillian) of Saskatoon, S.K. as well as her brother, John of Edmonton, AB. Anna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews and will be always remembered for her love of horses.

Many thanks go out to the Drs. and staff of the Palliative care unit 9Y at the Edmonton General Hospital who made Anna's last days as comfortable as possible.

At Anna's request no service will be held, cremation entrusted to Memories Funeral Home and Crematorium.
Memorial donations in Anna's memory may be made directly to Canadian Cancer Society.
