Norman Joseph Cameron
Peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, with family at his side of Norman Joseph Cameron, formerly of Borden-Carleton, aged 85 years. Veteran of the Second World War.
Husband of the late Nina (Wedge) Cameron. Norman is survived by the following sons and daughters: Linda (Charles) Griffin of Alexandra; Carolyn (James) O’Connell, Borden-Carleton; Edward (Lillian), Searletown; Paul, Charlottetown; and Donna (Michael) Blanchard, Summerside. Cherished by eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also survived by a sister Rose of Wedgewood Manor and a twin brother Melvin of Borden-Carleton.
Besides his wife Nina, Norman is predeceased by an infant son, Melvin and an infant great-grandson, Nash Brandon.
Resting at the Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora. Visiting hours Friday, May 20, 6:30 to 9 p.m. only.
Comrades of the Borden-Carleton Legion will have a service of remembrance at the funeral home on Friday, May 20 at 6 p.m.
Funeral will be held at St. Peter’s Church, Seven Mile Bay, on Saturday, May 21, at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Donations in Norman’s memory may be made to the Wedgewood Manor Trust Fund or to the parish cemetery fund.
