Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, of Ralph Edmund Lowther of Hampton, age 84 years. Beloved special companion of Margaret (Peg) Gallant. Dear father of Mary Beth (Joe) Amelia, Crapaud; Ruth Ann (Nelson) Bushey, Windsor, ON; Dale (Mary Jane) Lowther, Wallaceburg, ON; Paul (Paula) Lowther, Kelowna, BC; and Amy (Todd) Lowther, Tilbury, ON. Loving grandfather of 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also survived by brother Lionel Lowther and sisters-in-law Gladys, Elizabeth, and Marlene Lowther. Predeceased by parents Eric and Rhoda Lowther, wife Doris, brothers Jack, Norman, David, and sister-in-law Ada. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 23, at 11 a.m., at St. John's Anglican Church, Crapaud. Interment in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery. If so desired memorial donations may be made to the St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud.
