Doug passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He was born on July 18, 1925. Doug is survived by his wife Kaye (Kathryn) nee Mosher, daughter Susan, and son John (Kimberley Kennedy-Forsythe). Predeceased by his parents Merritt and Sadie (Kennan), by his brothers: Harold, Alan, Robert and his sisters Jean Larabee and Betty Hogan. Doug retired March 31, 1993, after spending many years with Canada Manpower Centre in Fredericton, N.B. and as manager of the Yarmouth Canada Employment Centre. After Kaye’s retirement they returned to Charlottetown in September 1997. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. A graveside service will be held at Sherwood Cemetery on Tuesday at 10 a.m. If so desired, memorials to Park Royal United Church Choir fund or a charity of choice.
