It is with great sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter Michelle Violet (Gillard) Anglen, on April 26, 2018 in Winterville North Carolina.
Born in Toronto on Dec. 13, 1973, she was the daughter of LLoyd and Cheryl (Boutilier) Gillard.
A graduate of Memorial High and a graduate of UNB with her RN, BSN in nursing. She will be greatly missed by her labor and delivery family at Vidant Medical Center, where she worked for the past 10 years. Michelle had a passion for running, achieving many medals for full and half marathons. She loved 4 a.m. training run with her dedicated fur baby by her side, Nanook.
Michelle had many great accomplishments in her short life, the greatest of all was her four children, Breanna and Emily Williams, Olivia and Sydney Anglen, also the joy of her life grand baby, Zo Weathersbee. Besides her parents Michelle is survived by her sister, Elaine (Gillard) Ferneyhough, (James); brother, Kevin; nephew, Jordan; nieces, Hannah and Jamie Ferneyhough. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and longtime friends.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, William and Violet (Harris) Boutilier; paternal grandparents, Thurman and Marjorie (Smith) Gillard.
A memorial service will be held May the 10, 2018, 1 p.m. at Carman United Church, 1 Clyde Ave., Sydney Mines, Rev. Nick Phillips officiating.
