The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, April 6, 2018, of Gladys Gillis, of Summerside, aged 88 years. Born in Shamrock, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Ida (MacDonald) Gillis. Survived by her niece Debbie Gillis (Kevin); nephews, Dale (Marilyn) Gillis, Jimmy Crowe; great-nephew Samuel Gillis; great-niece Taylor Gillis; and by numerous cousins. Predeceased by her brother Don (Eleanor) Gillis; sisters Catherine Gillis and Lorraine (James) Crowe. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Friday, at 1 p.m. Visiting hours Friday at 12 p.m. until time of service.
