Mr. James “Jim” Phalen Kelly passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the age of 56 years. James is survived by his loving and caring son, Trent Kelly (Krysten Jetter); mother, Bernice Kelly of P.E.I.; brothers, Blair Kelly and Eric Kelly of P.E.I.; sisters, Maureen Kelly of Vancouver, Lorraine Kelly of P.E.I., Christine Mytroen (Moray) of Airdrie, Karen Doyle of P.E.I., and Mary-Ann Kelly-Robison (Peter) of Moncton; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; many nieces and nephews; and an abundance of friends all over Canada and parts of the eastern United States. James was predeceased by his loyal and devoted wife, Michele Kelly in 2013; father, Howard Kelly; brothers, Boyd (Donna) Kelly and Edwin Kelly; sisters, Joanne Edwards and Helena Kelly. A Celebration of Jim’s Life was held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Alix Community Hall, Alix, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honour Jim may be directed to The Mustard Seed Red Deer, PO Box 1122 Stn Main, Red Deer AB T4N 6S6, or to a charity of one’s choice.
