Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, Ronald Reid of Clarenville, aged 81 years. Predeceased by his parents Laura and Joseph Reid; brother George (Rose); brothers-in-law Bill, Garfield and Samuel. Left with fond and loving memories his wife and best friend Jessie of 58 years; daughters Rhonda Holloway (Dexter) and Judy Lynn Wiseman (Dennis); grandchildren Rebecca (Nathan) and Reid; sisters Audrey Upshall (Ray) and Ella Russell; brother John (Elsie); sisters-in-law Edith Upshall, Marie Warren, Betty Smith (Harry) and Beulah Lockyer (Wilf); brothers-in-law Solomon Upshall (Blanche) and Baxter Upshall (Olga); 32 nieces and nephews; a dear friend Flo and family; and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Clarenville with interment at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Discovery Health Care Foundation.
