Miller, Dorothy Helen – Alton

Miller, Dorothy Helen – Age 99 of Alton, passed away May 10, 2018, in Shannex Elk Court, Brookfield. Born in Middle Stewiacke, she was a daughter of the late William and Bertha (Tupper) Conroy.

Dorothy was a great homemaker who had a servant’s heart, working hard on the farm and in the church and community. After Aubrey’s retirement, they enjoyed motorcycling, skidooing, and camping.

Surviving are daughter, Patsy, Sydney; sons, Ron, Alton; Robert, Langley, B.C.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Aubrey; grandson, Kirk; 12 siblings.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiacke East, Rev. David LeBlanc officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
