The death occurred peacefully, at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, of Shane Wilson, beloved husband of Rosemary Wilson (nee Arsenault), of North Rustico, aged 54. Shane was the loving son of Ray “Junior” and Frances (Gallant) Wilson; and father of Rebecca Wilson (Dylan Sanderson). He is also survived by his brothers, Stevie (Darlene) and Bobby; brothers-in-law, Raymond Arsenault and John Arsenault (JoAnne); sister-in-law, Nancy Gauthier (David); nephews, Ben, Lyle, Cory and Joseph; nieces, Robyn, Chelsey and Kaley; and numerous friends. Shane was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Bertha Arsenault; father-in-law, Joseph Alfred Arsenault; and uncle, Roger. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow. There will be no visitation by personal request. The family invites you to a memorial celebration which will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 3 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Cemetery, North Rustico.
