BURRY, Mary E. – Passed peacefully away on Thursday, May 19, 2011, at her home in Glovertown, in the presence of her loving family, at age 103. Predeceased by her loving husband Capt. Maxwell Burry and her precious daughter Marilyn (Burry) Swan. Left with fond and loving memories her children: James (Geraldine), Austin (Catherine), Donald (Maude) and son-in-law Joseph Swan; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren. Special thanks to home care workers Christine Davis who lovingly cared for her this past year, Gail Sweetapple and Shirley Sweetapple, and Doctor Simpson and her nursing staff. Memorial service to be held at Faith United Church, Glovertown on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
