The death occurred peacefully with family by her side, at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown, on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, of Teresa Gallant (nee Doucette), beloved wife of the late Urban Gallant, of South Rustico, aged 90. Teresa was the loving mother of Ken (Nancy), Doug (Anne Marie), Donna (Brian), David (Wendy), Bob (Elly), Joan (Harry Moreland), Mike (Ann), Ann (Craig Blacquiere); grandmother of 12, and great-grandmother of 13. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Rita, Wanda, Freda and Edna; and brothers-in-law, Arthur and Vince. Besides her husband, Urban, Teresa is predeceased by her parents, Curtis and Gertrude (Pineau) Doucette; parents-in-law, Dolph and Josephine Gallant; son-in-law, Lorne Misener; sister, Evelyn; brothers, Reggie, Harold and Robert; and brothers and sisters-in-law, John, Andrew, Gregory, Ferdie, Lena, Gillian and Albina . Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538, Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, South Rustico, on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
