It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Greg. His life will be lovingly remembered and cherished by his parents Ann and Maurice, the love of his life, his wife Rhonda Kenney, his children Neil and Jacqueline Burns, stepson Clyde Elias, grandson Jackson, step children Kenney and John Fraser Purchase, and canine pal Stanley, brothers George (Colleen), Michael (Anne-Elisabeth), Peter (Laura), John (Sharon), Jeff (Paula) and Trevor (Sharon), his in-laws the Kenney family, nieces, nephews, and his large circle of friends from coast to coast, especially his buddies from St. Paul’s High in Gander with whom he stayed in contact for over 45 years. Greg retired in 2016 after 37 years of service with Northwestel. He lived life to the fullest, loved travel, adventure, hockey (Boston Bruins) and music. Greg appreciated everything about music, especially live music. Whether it was listening, working with the musicians or behind the stage controlling the sound. He brought love, happiness and humor to all and will be deeply missed by everyone who was fortunate to have known him. Visitation will be at Caul’s Funeral Home LeMarchant Rd., St. John's, on Sunday, June 3rd from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, June 4th at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, Paradise.
