Louise Mabel Broussard, 71, of Sydney, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Bella (Inkpen) Pyke.
Louise worked for Cape Breton Regional Housing for 30 years.
Louise is survived by her husband, Albert; sons, Michael (Ann) and Brian (Barb), both of Sydney; sisters, Annabelle Wambolt, Sylvia (Gordon) Colbourne, Carol (Earl) Jewer, Geraldine Smith; sister-in-law, Andre (Grantmyre) Pyke and Brenda Walsh; brothers, George Pyke, David (Audrey) Pyke and Charles (Gloria) Pyke; grandchildren, Ashley, Jenna, Brendan and Keigan, and great-granddaughter, Addilynn Mae.
She was predeceased by her sister, Ameta Stephens; brothers, Wally, Archie, Bob and James in infancy; sisters-in-law, Virginia (Pino) Pyke and Edna (Lu) Sarrson Pyke, and brothers-in-law, Earl Wambolt and Jack Stephens.
A private family interment will be held at a later date.
