We, the family of the late Theresa Anne MacNeil, wish to express our deepest gratitude to all our relatives and friends, both near and far, who offered support during our recent loss. To those who sent messages of condolence, Mass cards, flowers, memorial donations, all those who attended the wake and funeral, dear neighbours and friends who brought food to our homes, thank you to all, it was appreciated.
Thank you to Father Everett MacDow and Father Hughie MacNeil for the beautiful celebration of Mass held at St. Columba Church, Iona, NS. Also thank you to the St. Columba Folk Choir for their amazing singing, and Kyle and Sheumas MacNeil for Mom’s final sendoff, she would have loved it! To the pallbearers- grandsons Adam, James, Liam and Parker MacNeil, great-grandson Ty Axworthy, cousins Gerard and Roddie Murphy, the readers- Gerard Murphy, Parker MacNeil and Hopper Poirier, gift bearers- great-grandchildren Hayleigh and Ty Axworthy, Eucharistic Minister Abbie Boudreau and Altar Servers, thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you to Josie Bonaparte for her help with the arrangements, the Ladies of St. Columba Parish Hall for the lovely luncheon following the service, and Gregory MacNeil for tending to the gravesite.
We would also like to thank the nurses and medical staff of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Glace Bay General Hospital and Long-Term Care Unit for all you did for Mom during her time with you.
Finally, to Sheldon Chant, Amanda Lewis and all the staff of Chants Funeral Home, thank you, your kindness to us all will never be forgotten.
