Mary passed away peacefully with friends present at The Queensway Carleton Hospital, Ottawa. She was predeceased by her parents John Scott O’Flaherty and Christine (nèe Mcguire) and brothers John and Kevin. Born in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Mary had a life long career at External Affairs with postings around the world. She leaves behind life long friends and respectful caring co-workers. As per Mary’s request no service or visitation to be held. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at Belvedere Cemetery in St John’s NL at a later date.
