At the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge in Eldon on Sunday, May 22, 2011, of William "Sinclair" MacTavish of Belfast, aged 88 years. Husband of the late Thelma MacTavish (nee MacDonald). Loving father of Donald, Lower Newtown and Malcolm, Stratford. Cherished grandfather of Courtney, Charlottetown. Dear brother of Donalda (Sandy) Bosovich, Calgary and Margaret (George) Dixon, Calgary. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Rita MacPherson, brother-in-law John Norman MacPherson and infant brother Hector. Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home until Wednesday, then to St. John's Presbyterian Church, Belfast for funeral service at 2 pm. Interment in the Belfast Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. If so desired, memorials to The St. John's Presbyterian Church Building Fund or to The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. The MAZPAH Lodge #17, Eldon, will hold a masonic service for their brother at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 9 pm. All brethren asked to attend.
