SECORD, MARTHA E. - The death of Martha Evelyn (Gibbons) Secord of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Thomas Secord occurred on Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was a daughter of the late Percy and Abbie (Evans) Gibbons. Martha was a member of the St. James Ladies Guild and their Couples Club. She is survived by her three daughters: Jane Ough (Wayne), Sally Secord Frits (Art) and Susan Ross (David) all of Saint John; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from St. James Anglican Church, Lakewood at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
