SPELLMAN, SCOTT FRANCIS OWEN - 1977- 2011 - Scott Francis Owen Spellman, 34, of Beaverbrook, Albert County passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at the Moncton Hospital. Scott was born in Saint John on April 25, 1977 the son of Debra (Rooney) and Michael Spellman. He was a Carpenter Scaffolder and worked out west in Fort McMurray for a while. Scott loved being outdoors and really enjoyed biking, swimming and fishing. He will live in the hearts of his family and friends forever. " When a loved one becomes a memory, a memory becomes a treasure. Treasure the memories." He was the much loved son of his mom, Debra (Rooney) Spellman and step-dad Allan Wilbur of Beaverbrook; his dad Michael Spellman of Saint John; beloved brother of Mike Jr. (Kathy) and Dustin both of Saint John; step brother to Matthew, Virginia and Emily. He held a special place in his heart for his daughter Kiera. He was a special uncle who will be sadly missed by special nieces and nephews, Montana, Zander, Ryder, Colby and Cameron. He will also be deeply missed by several aunts, uncles and cousins." He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, John and Theresa Rooney and paternal grandparents, Owen and Theresa Spellman.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of his Life will take place at the Albert County Funeral Home on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 3:00pm with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating. The family will be meeting with relatives and friends following the service here at the funeral home for further sharing of memories and for refreshments.
