Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in St John’s on Monday, August 13, 2018 Obediah (Obie) Skiffington of Musgravetown, aged 61 years. Predeceased by his father Cluney Skiffington and his father in law Clifford Hayter. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Lorinda of 27 years; children Kayla, and Corey (Katlin); one precious granddaughter Brooklynn; mother Winnie Skiffington; sisters Ruby Ivany (Melvin), Marjorie Rourke (Eric), Edith Harvie (Dave), Ivy Skiffington (Lloyd); brothers Roy (Sharon), Hubert (Barb) and a large number of nieces and nephews, family, friends, and special friend Gerald Thomas. Remains rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge. Funeral Service took place at Heritage United Church, Musgravetown on Thursday, August 16, 2018 with interment at United Cemetery, Musgravetown. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Musgravetown Fire Department.
