James Edward ‘Jim’ Delaney passed away at the Belleville General Hospital on Saturday, August 11, 2018 in his 90th year. Son of the late Martin and Josephine (Dawson) Delaney. Beloved husband of Cecelia Yvonne Delaney (Simson). Dear father of Kelly Pyke (Philip) of Alberta, late Suzanne Delaney, Derek Delaney (Kim) of Picton, and Michael Delaney of Cape Breton. Predeceased by special son Christopher Delaney. Dear brother of Margie Healey (Earl), late Teresa Smith (Ted), Agnes McInrye (late Marty), Jean McLeod (late Hughie), Late Mary Tobin (Bill), Patrick Delaney (Myrna), late Gerald Delaney (Margaret), Late Ronald Delaney (Marie), all of Cape Breton, Joseph Delaney (Betty) of Simcoe, and late Martin Delaney (Ruth). Loved by his grandchildren Holly, Michael, late Andrew, Rosie, Matthew, Simon, and by his great-grandchildren Adrian and Elija.
In keeping with Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Peters Catholic Church in Trenton Ontario on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 11 a.m.
