Passed peacefully away after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease and most recently cancer at the Palliative Care Unit, Dr. L.A. Miller Centre on Saturday, May 21, 2011. Don Morecombe aged 57 years. Predeceased by parents Jean and Gordon. Leaving with more happy memories than could ever be counted, his loving wife Jackie, three children Donnie, Kim and Renee (Ryan), three beautiful grandchildren Cole, Carter and Ella, sisters Barb (Jim) and Debbie (Jerome), sisters-in-law Sharamine (Dave), Kim (Steven) and Gail (Rick), aunts Virtue and Olive, special friend and golfing buddy Steve as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday from 7-9 p.m., then Tuesday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow funeral service.
