Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre St. John’s Newfoundland on May 21st, 2011 in her 71st year. Predeceased by husband Ambrose on December 19th, 2010 and sister Marguerite Rees on April 4th, 2011. Leaving to mourn with found and loving memories Son Roland Parsons (Judy) Bell Island, daughter Karen Sparkes Bell Island, Sisters Mabel Rees (Mike), Gloria Parsons (Eric), Brother Llew Jarvis (Linda) all from Ontario, Sister-in-law Betty Drover (Gerald) Bell Island, four Grandchildren Shawn Parsons (Marlene) Paradise, Tara Saunders (Stewart) Bell Island, Nicholas Sparkes Bell Island, Amanda Sparkes (Peter) Belgium, three Great Grandchildren Emily-Kate, Tyler and Devan Saunders, two very special friends Dorothy Hammond and Elizabeth Warren. Also a large circle of other special friends and relatives too many to mention. Resting at Pendergast’s Funeral home visitation Monday and Tuesday 12-5 and 7-9 p.m. funeral service on Wednesday May 25th, 2011 at 2 p.m. from Jackson United Church Bell Island. Interment to follow at the Anglican cemetery Lance Cove Bell Island.
