The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Sunday, May 22, 2011, of Olga Vivian Wright (nee Walsh) of Summerside, and formerly of Middleton, P.E.I., aged 89 years. Olga was born on March 20, 1922, in Maple Plains, P.E.I., to her late parents, Fred and Martha (nee Crossman) Walsh. Beloved wife of the late Charles Wright and loving mother of Morley (Bonnie) of Fall River, N.S., Garth (Metta) of Borden, Barry (Nancy) of Whitby Ont., Brian of Middleton, Dean (Kelly) of Summerside, and mother-in-law to Sherry Wright of Middleton. Also lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, especially Dianne Yaccato of Ontario. Besides her husband and parents, Olga was predeceased by her son Wyman, daughter-in-law Laurie, sister Hazel, and brothers Alva and Elmer. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Thursday, May 26, then to Bedeque United Church for funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in the Lower Bedeque Cemetery. Visiting hours on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations in Olga’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
