BOURQUE, ANITA - 1923 - 2011 - Shediac - Anita Bourque, 87, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence in Shediac, with her loving daughter at her side, on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, after a brief illness. Born in Barachois on October 18, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Bruno and Arzélie (Cormier) Thibodeau. Anita will be sadly missed by her daughter, Mona Pruneau of Shediac; her sister, Marceline Landry (late Valerie) of Shediac; her five grandchildren, Monique (Steve), Mario, Rémi, Annie, Karine; also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul (1993), one brother, Gerard; three sisters, Stella, Ernestine and Juliette.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Thursday, May 26 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be at the St. Joseph RC Church in Shediac on Friday, May 27 at 11:30 am. No visitation on Friday. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
