The death occurred at Whisperwood Villa, Charlottetown, on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, of Reta Spence (nee Sherren), of Charlottetown, in her 95th year. Reta is survived by her family; Lila Younker (Vernon), Ian Toole, Allen Spence (Lorna Mae), Ronnie Spence (Donna); 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; four sisters and one brother; and numerous nieces and nephews. Reta is predeceased by her husband Trevlyn; daughter, Gail Toole, and grandson Derek Spence; two sisters and three brothers. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation Friday, September 7, 2018, from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley.
