Passed peacefully away in her 87th year at the Health Sciences Complex on Monday, August 24, 2009, Annie Elizabeth Gover (nee Walters). Annie was predeceased by her husband George (2000); sister Mary; brothers: Gilbert and Charles. Leaving to mourn with loving memories her children: Kevin (Judy), Patricia (Michael), Janet, Randy and Gloria; brother Jack (Hannelore); her grandchildren Lesley (Darren), Ashley (Steve), Pamela, Roger (Grace), Deborah, Susanne (Terence), Joanne (Joey), Justin, Jeff (Joanne) and 12 great-grandchildren; also nieces and nephews and best friends Olive and Jim Shields. Special thanks to the staff of Meadow Creek Retirement Center and Emergency Room Staff at the Health Sciences Complex including Father John Courage. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitation on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, St. Clare Avenue on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. As a previous member of the R.C.A.F., she will be buried in the Field of Honor, Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
