Peacefully surrounded by family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, of Mr. G. Eric Dawson of Charlottetown in his 75th year.
Loving husband of Janet (nee Buote) Dawson and devoted father of Daniel and Jenelle. He is also survived by his siblings, Thomas A., Carl (Barb), Verna (Dan) Lloyd, Wyman, Skip (Audrey Gallagher), Bonnie (George) MacKenzie, Linda (Jimmy) Lloyd, Deborah (George) Curtis, Bucko (Connie), Susan, Vernon and Inez; uncles, Thomas Dawson and Everett Rogers and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents George and Caroline (Rogers) Dawson; brother, Melvin; sisters, Audrey, Ruth, Inez and Merritt in infancy.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the People’s Cemetery, Charlottetown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Queens County Residential Services or Camp Gencheff.
